How it started

After I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, it became very difficult to keep going. I knew nothing about mental health, and made many poor lifestyle choices.

Josh, a friend from my soccer team, noticed I wasn't well and started checking in with me a couple times a week to see how I was doing.

It was really simple - we picked a couple small behaviours to focus on, like getting up and going outside - and I did them each day. With a lot of hard work, I got better.
